Michael E. Taylor, PE, Project Manager
Michael is a Professional Engineer interested in contributing to the creation of beautiful, resilient, and fiscally-sound communities. After working for 6 years on transportation engineering projects for UDOT and UTA, Michael came to CSG in early 2014. He is proficient in site planning and design of various types (multi-family, commercial, single-family, institutional, industrial, etc.) as well as various environmental services (wetland delineations, geologic hazard studies, flood mapping, Phase 1 ESA’s, etc.). Drawing on his transportation background, Michael also conducts traffic impact analyses and has led transportation planning efforts for several general, specific, and trail master plans.
Michael derives a great deal of satisfaction from working in collaborative environments with clients, co-workers, officials and other partners to create projects that will contribute to a community’s social and economic vibrancy. He currently manages the design team of the company’s Providence office where he helps to foster an environment committed to timely delivery and technical excellence, while offering a unique multi-disciplinary approach and perspective.
Outside of work Michael spends his time fathering his five beautiful children, raising sheep on his homestead in Paradise, reading widely, and enjoying the silence and solitude of Utah’s mountains.
