Jacob Hendrickson, Landscape Architect – Division Manager
All through my life I have had a great love and interest in art and design. This love is inspired largely by the natural world as well as the built environment around us. This has influenced my decision to become a Landscape Architect. My profession requires implementation of functionality and sustainability in a creative and aesthetically pleasing way, always focusing on what my clients want the space to accomplish.
Having called the great state of Utah my home for most of my life, I am very interested in the unique climates, cultures, and natural landscapes that exist all around us in the western United States. Always excited to visit new areas all over the world, I was fortunate to be able to experience fascinating places in Europe and North America and learn more about the natural diversity and beauty of each place and its people. I strive to apply the lessons I learned from seeing what works in other spaces and focus on creating usable and pleasing places for people, ever conscious of preserving our fantastic natural environment and way of life. I believe that landscapes are to be seen, used, appreciated, and remembered. I implement this belief by coming to understand client wishes and by getting a good understanding of the site and its relation to its surroundings.
Jacob is a licensed Landscape Architect with over 5 years of experience. His attention to detail, eye for functional and sustainable design, and ability to work with clients, contractors and other professionals will ensure a positive collaboration on any project.
