<p>The Uintah County Library is an architectural gem situated in the heart of Vernal City. The three story building is surrounded by a beautiful plaza and landscaped areas. The parking lot and site was designed to handle storm water on-site. The creative landscape design used large boulders from the excavation for seating and develop a strong aesthetic for the site. The landscape also features planters, seating, children plazas, and open grass areas. CSG was retained by the Architect to complete all civil and landscape design services and observation during construction.</p>

CSG completed all civil engineering and worked with the architect to complete the site layout for the project. Landscape design, garden design and irrigation design was also performed by CSG personnel (while w/ other firm).</p>

Civil Solutions Group completed all permitting, planning, design, and construction administration for the owner.</p>

<p>CSG was retained by the architectural team to complete the civil site design and site related LEED consultation for the Utah State University Strength and Conditioning Center.  The site presented unique challenges due to the steep slopes, poor soils, complex utility network, interface with the existing North End Zone Building, and the need to retain all storm water on site.  CSG completed all civil related design and a sustainable low impact development storm water design that collects all water within two large cisterns.  This project is currently striving to achieve LEED Silver.</p>

<p>The Utah State University Brigham City Campus recently acquired additional acreage at the site of the old Indian School.  CSG was asked to complete a 100 year planning horizon utility master plan for the proposed campus area to determine the adequacy of the existing sewer, water, gas, and storm drain systems along with analysis of the feasibility of a campus wide secondary irrigation system.  The completed plan was included in the overall Brigham City Campus master plan document.</p>
